crystal diode

greetings
i have the paperwork to build the
heath rf probe 309-c for a 11 meg vtvm
i need the part number for a germanium diode
heathkit just call it a crystal diode on there parts list
anybody got a number?
the freq range of the probe is 1kc to 100 Mhz
