HW-101 audio problem

Hello all,

    I have an HW 101 that has distorted audio on receive.  It sounds
rough and raspy, not smooth.  It is perfectly intelligible but not
pleasant to listen to for extended periods of time.  Does anyone have
any suggestions ?  Thanks for the help and comments you have given in
the past.
