        I know that is is probably a stupid question but ...
        Is there a cross reference available somewhere that
lists the Heath house number and cross references it to a
common and generally known part numbers?  I understand that Heath still sells some spare parts so I assume that this
 information has not passed into the public domain but I
keep seeing messages that reference a Heath part number when
2N (in the case of transistors) or MC/CD/74/etc number
could be easily found.
        Again, my question is: Is there a Heath part nymber
cross reference to vendor number available?
