Heathkit Modification

Hello all!

There was a modification to the HW-7 for control over the sidetone level.
 I believe it was in the November issue of QST, page 41.  Could I ask
that someone take a peek at this issue and pass along the jist of the
article.  I've looked at the circuit and it seems quite simple but I'd
like to know what the article has to say.
