Labelmakers

Hello all,
        I'm looking at labelmakers...the "Brother" and "Casio" thin plastic
tape variety....for relabeling gear, boxes, etc.

        I'm looking for some advice as to which one is the best value, most
versatile for the price, and uses the least expensive, and most
available tape cartridges.

        I would like one to replace my old Dymo machine and don't want to
have to
buy more than one!  (In other word, I want to get it right the first time!)

        Any owners have any suggestions?
