Dear Green Group,

As my HW-101 woes continue (very low power out on 80-40-20; 15-10 OK),
may I ask if others have encountered this scenario.

Diode D-907 being defective and causing this situation. This is
another one of the components that seems to exist in the circuit only on
80-40-20 and not on 15-10 (as usual, I may be wrong about this).

Also, although 15 meters works, When the key is let up, the sound slowly
increases in volume. It is not a case of the relay sticking, the sound
just starts low and builds up to where it should be. The manual
troubleshooting
chart says "Symptom: Receiver has slow recovery from transmit
condition.
Possible Cause: Diode D-101 defective" Does "slow recovery from
transmit condition" mean the audio starts low and builds up, or does it
mean
the audio isn't there at all, and then finally decides to appear.

If there may be another cause of this audio problem please advise.

TNX, 73, es Keep 'Em Glowing (I'm trying),

Mike, KE9EX
