Richardson Electronics markets the 3-500Z for $199.00 each. The tube is
only made by Amperex and the price fluctuates with the French franc.
Note that the Eimac 3-500Z is built to last many amateur radio operator
lifetimes under normal use.
Richard Measures can restore some 3-500 filaments.
