This is a strange story. I was in the tube business for a few years but have
been out of it for 4 or 5 years.

First, I maybe wrong but I think Machlett has not been in Slat Lake City for
more than 15 years. EIMAC did have a plant their, I used to have some special
tubes made there.

Surprised to hear about the ITT Op now being Triton ETD. I had understood that
facility had been sold to Litton Industries in Williamsport, PA

If anyone has the real skinny on this I would be interested purely for the
nostalgia.
