GC-1000 and year 2000

The following comment about the GC-1000 and Y2K concerns comes straight
from the man who wrote the firmware--Terry Purdue.    I did some slight
editing for length and personal content. . .

WWV sends a bit (actually two bits, as I recall) that
signals the coming and going of DST, but I don't believe [the GC-1000]
uses the date information from WWV, so there shouldn't be a problem.
