Greetings to everyone on the Heath list,

I have an opportunity to acquire a very pretty pair that I have not seen
much of lately: the HX-30 6 meter transmitter and its matching HA-20
amplifier. The owner has kept them in beautiful condition (bedroom table
under a dust cover), has the original manuals for them, and may or may
not toss in one oif the period "Gray Bar" Heath microphones.

Has anyone a feeling for what would be a fair price to offer? My guess
is about $400 but I could be wrong. Is that high, low....?

Second question which is really several questions on one item: the SB634.

(1) I have been bringing mine back to life and need to find one or two
of the type "49" two volt (2V) bayonet lock pilot lamps. They look
identical to the popular 6V type 47 but respond to the 2V visual alert
circuit.

(2) Also need a three inch by 1/2" strip of the red lense material used
on these units (e.g. SB104, SB604, etc.) so that I can properly light the
VU/SWR meter (Will trade you some golf balls), and

(3) Could also use a clear manual copy if anyone can assist there. Have
many Heath manuals that I can pick from to offer a copy in return.

Evening to all, 73 de Doug
