re ID-4001 temp probes

They bought the rights to the ID-5001 weather station from us."

Another affectionado checked with Questech and found the sensors to be terribly expensive.

I believe that the probe uses a LM3911, which is now obsolete. It's a temperature sensor made by National. I've searched around and cannot find any. National does make others, none the same, which could be adapted to the weather station. This would require circuitry changes.
