Old Bakelite Cases

I finally broke down and bought one of the plastic cases at Raydeeoo
Snack to see if it was a good substitute for the old bakelite cases that
came with the Heath CR-1, CO-1, RS-1 and ??-1  (a photographic timer).

I tried to put the guts of the RS-1 into this case (BTW, the RS part
number is 270-1805) and it was just a tad to shallow the allow me to set
the entire works inside the case (but NOT by much).  Also, I don't think
the corner screw holes match up with the bakelite cases either :-(

I'm sure there are those of you who ARE capable of making this case do in
a pinch, but it's not a perfect match.

I know there's a few of us on the list who are looking for these cases,
so I hope everyone's busy routing through their attic to find one (for
each one of us) <grin>.
