Curtis-

There are a wide variety of excellent kits to build today. There are a number
of excellent transceivers, especially the Sierra with digital display and
memory keyer by Wilderness Radio, and the kits by Oak Hills Research. There
are also excellent accessories like the Oak Hills watt meter, and digital
display; the LDG QRP auto tuner; and the Idiom Press memory keyer.

I have a web site with links and resources to the modern day kit companies,
including photos of rigs and a number of articles devoted to kit building.
URL is:

http://members.aol.com/w3dx/index.html

When you get to my page, there are a number of direct links to kit companies.
But please be sure to follow the link to "Norcal" (the Northern California QRP
Club), and from their page follow the links: "Websites", then "Companies".
You'll find a comprehensive list of kit makers. Among the kit makers, be sure
to check out Oak Hills, Wilderness Radio, LDG, and Elecraft.

Good luck.

Rob, W3DX
