Filter #'s and silkscreening...

I'm new to the group, a ham, a Heath collector, and an ex-Heath
employee. Used to work in the LA store in the seventies. My home is
furnished in "early Heathkit"....
Concerning the filters...
I took these #'s off of a fully equipped 303'--
        404-283--2.1khz
404-314--3.75khz or 5khz (it could be either, as far as I can
tell...
        404-284-1--400khz, the elusive one.

I'm fasinated that Earl has several other #'s--I wonder if their
optional filters for other rigs, or trick bandwidths for special
applications. Remember, 2.1khz was a bit odd; most major manufactueres
ended up at 2.4khz. Maybe this is why the 300/301/303/100/101/102
seemed to out perform the competition by just a bit...

Now a question. Does anyone know of anybody that's re-silk screening
SB-series panels? If someone starts doing it, I'm sure they'll have
quite a restoration business on their hands. I also have a couple of
Collins S-lines and this service is already available for them...
