Questions about SB-1000 Linear, QSK Board

Hi-

I'm tinkering with an SB-1000 linear which I plan to put into service.  I have
questions for anyone who has experience with the amp:

1) I have the optional QSK board, the SBA-2000-1.  (I believe this is version
2, which succeeded the SBA-1000-1).  Is it a good idea to install this device?
Does it work well?

2) How do the Relay and ALC controls work with late model Yaesu equipment?
I'll be hooking it up to an FT-1000.  Any tips for interfacing the unit?

3) Do you recommend 120 VAC or 240 VAC operation?

4) How does the amp work in general?
