DX-100B Problem

Hi Gang,

Am in the final stages of bringing a DX-100B back to life but have run into a
snag. Everything works fine until you try to load the finals than can get only
150 ma or so. Grid drive is good, performed the clamp adjustment twice as per
manual. Plate voltage is about 820 without load. Screen voltage is about
170 to 180 when loaded as far as I get it. During checking of components did
find the final plate blocking capacitor shorted. Zero Ohms. That could have
been disasterous. Its a .001 2KV mica filled. Didn't have one of those on
hand so replaced it with a .005, 3KV Disk. Closest thing I had. Could that
be the problem? Does anyone have a junker DX-100 that could spare one of
these caps?

Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated.
