SB110 output power

This rig uses 2 X 6146B in the finals. 60 Watts to 80 Watts sounds about right
for these tubes running AB1 @ 50 MHz. This is the area where they start to run
out of gas. They work all the way up to 170 MHz but at reduced output.

It is probably worthwhile to verify that the predriver and driver stages are
putting out enough oompf. You *might* be able to get another 20 watts or so if
there is a soft stage earlier.

Please note that this advice is based on knowlege of the tubes used and not
experience with that rig.

Hi Gang,

I am working on an SB110 6m rig. It only will put out about 60 watts. Does
anyone know what is the typical output power for the SB110?

Steve
