my HP23 has a sometimes very warm transformer.

I can't cook eggs or anything on the transformer of the HP23 power supply,
hooked up to a very good little HW100. But can someone tell me just what
the average finger temperature of the transformer should be?

if it's running too hot, then i guess i'll have to replace the caps (we
had an email couple of days on this, didn't we?)

ANYBODY HAVE A SUGGESTION AS TO HOW CLOSE I AM TO BURNING THIS THING UP?

ciao
bill
