572B's or 811A's?

I just returned from a swap meet where a fellow was selling a Collins
30L1 linear. He casually told me that it had 572B's in it (four of
them)but he was throwing in a set of 811A's.(811's are OEM for the
Collins) I querried if the two were interchangable, and he assured me
that they were, though the 572B had "higher ratings". Now, I used to
own a 30L1, and I never remember it putting out more that 500 watts; my
SB-200 does 600, and on two less tubes! The 30S1's plate is in the 1400
volt range; the 200's is 2500. But I've never heard of a 200 using
811's. Comments?
