New thread: a Heath reference of mods....

This is an idea. Just an idea. Most of us have multiple Heath ham
items in our shacks, some with some age. Thru the years, CQ and QST
published modifications for our units improving performance, changing
bands, etc. But few of us own the back copies of these magazines to be
able to reference them. Penson, in the back of his book, published a
list of all the references in CQ and QST. Is it possible that we could
create a reference file for these articles? We could also catalog and
list Lutz's factory bulletins there too, so we could pick and choose
what mods we might want to make. Lutz's bulletins are quite valuable
and should be available at a central location so that he isn't bothered
by individual requests. QST now has back issues on CDROM; and I don't
know what the copyright reg's would be like, but maybe we could simply
ask the ARRL and CQ for permission to create an archive...Like I said,
it's just an idea....
