Bob,
   Don't have anything that uses these tubes (3-500), but I want to make
sure that I understand what you're saying.  Did you mean Eimac is no
longer making these tubes (but that someone else still does) or that
NOBODY IS MAKING THESE TUBES?  If you meant the latter, yikes!!   I hate
to hear of these things because I'm awaiting the fatefulday when tubes
THAT I DO USE come into the same category.  I guess that day will come,
huh?   I keep thinking that the 3rd world countries still have a great
need for tubes and that that's our salvation for now (the fact that they
keep the demand present), but I could be resting on false security here.
Opinions?
