Hello HEATHENS,
Have a cosmetics problem with a HD-1250 solid-state dipper. It is in
absolutely perfect condition except that the foam in the the carrying
case lid has apparently deteriorated, and some foam residue is now
smearing the top face of the dipper. Does anyone know of a way to remove

this residue? Water doesn't do it, I am afraid it needs a solvent, which

will probably take off the lettering. Any ideas?

Also re the "nut starter" that ideas was copied by at least one company,

I built two Knight kits back in the 60's , an R100A, and a small stereo
amp, both of which had a red plastic "nut starter".

Thanks, Howie WB2AWQ
