Certainly one of the most interesting threads on the list lately. Thanks
to Bill R for touching it off.
It would be hard for me to pick just one, but I lean toward the SB-102 or
HW-100 (a much more aesthetically pleasing rig than the HW-101 IMHO) in
ham gear, and the IM-13 VTVM or maybe the IO-21 scope in test equipment.
To some extent "classic" is defined by what was in the catalog when you
first started drooling over it. In general, I define classic as the
period from about 1963 to 1968. These were Heath's most prolific and
profitable years, and the styling of equipment produced during this time
was really wonderful.
Anyway, that's my two cents. . . .
