voltages from looking at the old battery--I think it's 9. 6 with a tap
at 4 or so...I did it to mine, it charges well and works fine. The AA's
last a lot longer than the original battery ever did...As I recall, the
original battery gave that set a lot of headaches--I remember changing a
lot of them when I worked for Heath...
