Heath friends,
Here's my backup strategies -- off topic -- so I'll keep
this *very* short... :-)
I use the HP/Colorado T-3000 Travan Tape backup. Backs up
3.2GB with compression on one tape cartridge... easy,
fail-safe, a bit slow, but cheap... about $165 including
one tape cartridge. Works great for big drives! Great for
Win95.
I use Iomega's Zip Drive (parallel port version) for my
notebook. Very friendly system. 100 Mbyte disc -- about
the size of a floppy disc in physical size. Drive is about
$119. Discs are about $10 ea. Very, very easy. Very
portable. Great for Win95.
Free strategy: If you have smaller files & older drives,
there are many rebate deals on 3.5" floppy discs. They're
*free* essentially. Get a couple of "rebate boxes" of 50
discs and you can backup over 100Mb of files for free!
Works well & the price is right :-) Works with any OS and
it's free !!
vry 73 & safe data to all :-)
