HEATHKIT HD1481 REMOTE ANT SW

New season, new troubles.

This remote ant switch has 4 positions, control voltage goes up the coax.

I have not used the station for abt 4 weeks. I have 1 ant attached. When
the unit is on - off defaults to position 1 - I get the ant signal, nice
& strong, on positions where there r NO ant. My SWR has gone to pot, was
1.2-1.3.

I fooled with it, and my Heath 2040 tuner, got new settings - for a test
freq - which brought the SWR down, agn, to 1.3. Then everything went to
hell agn.

Is the problem the relays, outside, or the inside control switch??
