FS SB-500

Heath folk,
        OK. I have received 3 msgs abt the SB-500, so it wud seem there
is still interest.  The one left here is wired for 10 meters and appears
to have a documented, but removable mod.  I have not read thru the
documentation, but from visual inspection I do not see any permanent
change (or damage) to the circuitry.  Moreover, I have no way to test
the rig, since the installation requires changes to the HF gear to
which the SB-500 is attached, so you must do your own "smoke test".
But the fellow who had them said, " I had them both working, the 10
mtr one was hooked to my HW-101"....CAVEAT EMPTOR...I know not.

Cosmetically the rig is very nice, with a VG front panel, and the
cabinet appears to be oversprayed, but a very nice job....

The last one I had sold at $150, it also was in the same condition and
had a removable mod.   So..I'll "open" at $150 .
By the way the first 3 emails came in at, 13:20, 14:16, and 16:15..
