Hey, gang.
Ok, I realize not everyone's an eBay fan.
But I keep finding neat Heathkit stuff there... kinda like here on this swell
reflector.
Got my start in electronics at around age five ( 1957 ) listening to my Dad's
ole RME-45 receiver which, at one point was set up in a corner of our kitchen-
dinette area in the house we affectionately referred to as " the barn " ( it
was a li'l drafty ).
Anyway, I have "discovered" yet another variation of the Heathkit "Electronic
Workshop 19", the first of which was bought for me by my Dad when I was around
age nine.
I bought another for myself a few years later with profits from a paper route.
If memory serves, both boards were white in color with colored lettering (
blue and/or red, perhaps ).
So this latest discovery, eBay item # 38545642, has a dark blue board. I
realize that this is a minor variation ( I work for GE... the Grandaddy of
infinite variation ) Maybe Heath got a good deal on blue paint !
Any of you ever seen this one ? Got some good background info ? Do tell.
BTW, I built my SB-104 in 1975. One of the most challenging ( and rewarding )
projects I have undertaken thus far. I was the envy of many of my technical
associates !

Bill, N4QA
