Heath GC-1000 clock's are a important part of our data acquisition
systems. We recently discovered that one of them has not had Heath's
mods that make the unit more resistant to static electricity and
lightning strikes.

We recently sent in one of our GC-1000 clocks to Heath and it was
returned untouched with Heath stating that they had (too much money) and
were no longer servicing them. They referred me to Spectrum Electronics
which also proved to be of no value.

Is anyone out there familar with the mods that were done or know someone
who is still capable of servicing and upgrading these clocks as due to
the general downgrading of most electronics in the last 5 to 10 years,
no alternatives are available.

Thanks

Dan
