WTB: MR-1 mobile supply

I just took into my charge an MR-1 (Comanche) receiver, on "permanent loan"
from my Wife's Uncle, who just retired and is moving to Retirementville,
Missouri.  I am "taking care of" what he has to have me "store".

Nice looking MR-1, with a Homebrew p.s. for in the shack, but, I am thinking
it might be cute to stick in my pickup when I go to hamfests by myself.  I
am wanting to buy an HP-10 or HP-13 to go with it, per the Chuck Penson
Bible.  The original manual specifies the HP-10, but if Chuck says it's ok,
then the HP-13 would be ok, too.  Any significant differences?

Any out there needing to go back into service again?  Would like it to work,
though, if possible.
