HW-101 help needed

I have worked thru 
the Alignment procedures and am left with a couple of 
problems.


 

1.    
I can't get the Crystal Calibrator down to 100 kHz, only 104.  Is there
a 
mod for this problem?


 

2.    
Going to the end of the Receiver Alignment procedure, it states that I
should 
see

S9 + 20 dB at 3700 
KHz with the calibrator.  I can only get S4.  The receiver works as 
well as my TenTec RX320.


 

Where should I start 
to bring this meter reading up?


 

3.    
Also, at the start of the procedure I adjusted the "Bias" CCW but I
don't see 
anywhere in the alignment to adjust it for.... ?


 


 

All ideas and help 
will be appreciated.
