The joke would be if that system board, pre-assembled and pre-alligned by
Heathkit over ten years ago, had a critical component on it that went south
and was not replaceable-slipped through the cracks of Quality Control.  (I
can anticipate the bombardment of responses that Heath never had QC
slip-ups.)  Furthermore, such a sinister thought has not stopped me from
"contemplating" diving into this insanity.
