Speculation in Unbuilt Kits? re: GC-1000

Rob: Thanks for your thoughtful message.

This past Saturday, I attended the Belton TX Hamfest and
there was an unbuilt SB-221 for sale.  The price was
$1000 !  Perhaps the seller would have come down a
little, but my friends and I looked at it as "It's only
worth about $500 after you build it so why bother ?".
