GC1000 info

You goaded me into taking out the manual, and, lo and behold, both the main uP in the GC-1000 and the RS-232 uP, are the same part - 444-200.  So they are the same.  But both are installed separately, e.g. for RS-232 two of them are used on two separate circuit boards.

Presumably, anyone who has the RS-232 accessory but who does not use it presumably has a "spare" uP - not a bad thing given that they are no longer available.
