Back to you Dave WT8R info you asked for on Amp.
Model-- Dentron GLA1000 Type AB1 Grounded Grid
Tubes-- Four 6LQ6
Plate Current @ 400 watts output .6 but meter on unit could be not reading as
it should on current setting. It seems to hang on current setting not on
voltage setting or relative output setting. I use SWR Power Meter to dip and
load
(MFJ 1.5kw tuner 3)
Testing into dummy load.
Manufactures specs. 1KW input=800 volts multiplied by 1.25 Amps
Size of blown fuse-- 15 amps 240 volts
Power to Dentron 70 to 80 Watts checked with bridge.
I am running the Dentron off of 110 house voltage.
It can be set up to use 220 but have not set up shack for 220.
