W-5M output tubes

Hello,

I'm using a Heath W-5M power amplifier as part of a vintage
mono audio system to play early LPs. I just restored the
amplifier. It had been sitting in a closet since about
1970. It still has the original tubes, including the Genalex
KT-66 output tubes. It's working wonderfully, but I was
looking around out of curiosity to see what replacing
them would cost. Antique Electronic Supply sells used ones
for $54. Another dealer was offering to buy NOS ones for $70.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience using the Svetlana 6L6GCs
in their place. They can be had for around $14. I would
welcome any opinions on this. Thanks.
