EK> It would help to have a manual with an illustration. I think Heath devoted more pages
to the front panel integration then anything else. First gain access to the inside so
that you can look down the inner part of the dial. Next, take off the large knob, next
loosen the large nut holding the shaft (just loosen) This shaft moves up and down. At
the inside end of the shaft is a split washer affair that looks like a pulley. The pulley
is meant to engage the dial assy. This is done by looking on the inside at the pulley and
moving the shaft up and onto the dial assy. ( I think yours is on the outside and pushing
on the dial is merely making a side-to-side friction contact). Once you have set the
pulley onto thedial and applied a bit of downward pressure, then you can tighten the nut
and replace the knob. Hope this helps.
