info needed: 1N295 diode or equivalent

As many of you are aware there are several companies that make replacement
semi conductors.  One is Philips (ECG) and they list the replacement of an
1n295 as an #ECG 110A.  Most industrial parts places carry this line or one
that can easily be crossed referenced.  The prices are quite reasonalble.
Also, a fact many of you may not know, is that ECG's cross reference list
also refers to heathkit part numbers, 417-xxx.
