Digital readout on SB104

My exalted tech is somewhat puzzled in trying to get the digital display to display the correct frequency.
For instance the unit is tuned to the Maritime net on 14.300 but the digital display indicates 14.300.3.  Can someone explain or indicate how we may obtain the true frequency on the digital display.Help!!
