Just to echo Mike's thoughts here, this works both ways.  My comments
following DO NOT apply to this list as the experience was outside of the
list, but it's still frustrating........

Twice in the last month, I have offered to purchase an item and had the
offer accepted and confirmed.  The seller said, "I'll weigh it and get you
a final amount with shipping."  Never heard back.  In one case, the item
came from a person's Web page.  When I looked back at the page, the item
was gone, so obviously, he either sold it to someone else or decided not to
sell it.  Sure would have been nice if he'd told me!  (Glad I had not sent
money!)

Never had this happen here, so I think I'm going to restrict my buying and
selling to this list and Hamfests!!

Anyway, like Mike said, "it feels great to vent"............
