HR 10 PROBLEM

The major problem with the HR-10 is the mixer/L.O. setup,
there simply isn't enough isolation between the RF/LO input
to the mixer, they are tied to the same grid with only low value
coupling caps to offer isolation. A major improvement would be
to install a buffer stage between the L.O. and the mixer, but not
too practical. It's just a cheap beginners receiver.
