DX-100 Drive Problems

A couple of weeks ago I posted a query about very low
drive on 10 meters on my DX-100. After several hours
of extensive trouble shooting I finally found the
problem.
For some reason, the "low voltage" rectifier was
"screwing" things up. Although the voltages checked
OK, the drive was still very low. Changed it out and
the rig works fine!
Frankly, that's a new one on me. I've worked on all
sorts of rigs, tube and solid state, but have never
run into that problem before.
