SB-100 CW Filter???

Hi, folks!

I was settled back in the easy chair the other night reading Chuck's fine
book when I ran across a statement that caught my eye. Chuck said that the
SB-100 had no provisions for a CW filter. Wait a minute, I said, sure it
does! Well, I trotted downstairs and took a look at mine. Sure enough,
there's a CW filter. But wait.... there is a plate over the RF gain
legend, perfectly matching the front panel. It has the standard Heath
swing arm switch, "SSB CW" just like the '102. Somebody added it.

It's a very professional job. The filter is mounted on a bracket just like
the 102. In fact, until I read Chuck's book, I had no idea that there was
not a provision for the filter on the '100.

My question..... is this a Heath "authorized" mod? Was there an update kit
or did someone do a real nice job of adding this on thier own?

Any one else seen this on an SB-100?

73,
Paul, wb9hgz
