FYI,
I ran across this on the Svetlana Web Site
(http://www.svetlana.com/docs/dictionary.html.)  May be an alternative for
SB-230s with bad tubes.

8873--conduction-cooled tetrode, popular in amateur radio linear amps
(Heathkit
SB230)--made in USA. Suggest retrofit with Svetlana 4CX400A or 4CX800A.
Svetlana
has Technical Bulletins Nos. 14 and 19, describing this retrofit into similar
amateur linear amplifiers. The 8874 can also be retrofitted (see 8874).
