HeathKit ID-4001 Weather Station

I think that they sold for around $300 new, although that is just a recollection. I have catalogs that list this, I'm fairly certain, but they are not convenient. I'd guess that you could get that or more on E-Bay [which, no matter what anyone tells you, is not immoral].
I don't recall if there was a PC interface or not, but I believe that in Remark [the Heath User's Group Magazine] or somewhere else, there may have been articles on computer interfaces to the weather station.

Subject: HeathKit ID-4001 Weather Station
I just picked up a brand new in the box unbuilt ID-4001 today witha box of the
connector cable. Does anyone know what this unit is worth? Also, as far as
it being able to connect to a computer, has anyone used one of these with a
PC, or even commodore for that matter?
Thanks
Lew
