HO-10 Monitor Scope

Good morning Heath Technicians: I have a focus problem in my HO-10.  In
mine, the  spot on the screen(as per page 37 of the manual)  is about
3/16 to 1/4" in diameter
and will not focus any smaller. Consequently, the sharpest I can focus
the horizontal
trace is 1/8" high or so. I believe it should focus better than that.
I have checked all tubes except the compactrons. I have checked the high
voltage bleeder resistors as well as capacitors C30, C31 and others. I
have also checked
lots of voltages and so far all appear normal. Still. I have more than
defocusing at
the ends of the trace(which the book says is normal). Can anyone out
there suggest
other avenues to persue in order to correct this focus problem. I hope
what I have described is not a normal condition. Thanks in advance,
