Frozen slugs et al

Gentle Keepers of the Green....

        I be working on this SB102. T1 transformer, part number 52-79,
(also found in whole bunch of other Heath Radios), 3.395 frequency
has a single slug that is frozen tighter than Dick's Hatband.

        There is no turning this guy and these coils being super
fragile, can't just use my 24" stilson wrench.  There was a thread
awhile back about unfreezing these dukers...anybody remember..

And of course, anybody got a 52-79 transformer lying about....chances
are 99 out of 100, the form will break before the slug moves....
or the super strength stainless steel coil wire NOT, will break.
