Collector Quality Station For Sale (HX-1681 / HR-1680)

Hello Collectors of the Green,

I wish to accept offers on a complete station consisting of the
following:

Heathkit HX-1681 CW Transmitter
Heathkit HR-1680 CW/SSB Receiver
Heathkit HS-1661 Speaker
Heathkit HP-23C Power Supply &  Cable
Heathkit HM-102 Watt Meter

The transmitter is complete with original manual, pictorial, and
schematic.  Cosmetic / Physical condition is a 10 out of 10!  This is
indeed collector quality with an inside void of any dust, dirt, or
grime.  The radio smells fresh!  Never used by a smoker.  The copper
chasis shines and looks new.  The cabinet face and front panet are also
exceptional.  Knobs are original and perfect.  The transmitter was
recently aligned by RTO electronics and you can be confident that it
performs to factory specifications.  Output on 80-15 meters is
approximently 125 Watts into a 50 ohm dummy load and 10 meters is about
75 watts (normal for this transmitter).  This radio also has the CORRECT
rubber feet on it.

The receiver is in the same condition as the transmitter.  Clean on the
inside and smells fresh.  Cabinet, face, and knobs are excellent.  It
was also recently aligned/calibrated by RTO electronics so again you can
be sure that it performs to factory specifications.  It is a sensitive
receiver and sounds fine.  The simple modification for use with the
HX-1681 transmitter was performed.  It also includes the original
manual, pictorials, and schematics.  The receiver has the CORRECT rubber
feet.

The matching HS-1661 speaker is also without flaw.  The original manual
(all 3 or 4 pages...) is included.  And, Yes, the speaker has the
correct rubber feet installed.

The HP-23C is the power supply for the transmitter and is also in
exceptional condition.  Clean, even around the base of the electolytic
caps.  Complete with a fine looking case power cable.  The original
manual is inlcuded.

The HM-102 rounds out the station.  Once again, exceptional condition,
recently aligned, and complete with the original manual.


I would MUCH rather sell this station to a reflector member as I know
the station will be given a good home.  However, I must kindly ask that
only serious offers are given; those that reflect a true collector
quality condition station.  I'd prefer to sell that station as a
complete package but may piece it out depending on the offers.
