hw-22 vs hw-22a

Hi gang,
I recently purchased a HW22 w/o manual and have the opportunity to buy a
HW-22A manual.  Are the two rigs close enough the same that the manual
for one would be OK for the other??  I'm not concerned with any obvious
mech differences but with subtle changes in the schematic or tune-up
procedures.
