6146 et al.

To add my 2 cents worth. When I was in the 2-way business (10) years and
worked for Motorola (15) years I replaced 6146's with tubes marked both
6146B and 8298 on the same tube, I never had any trouble making spec on
commercial radios up to 170 Mc, Regards,
